eufyCam E330 (Professional) 2-Cam Kit

A proper review of this system would be quite lengthy and necessarily detailed. This is not that. Call it a brief overview.My Goal was to get high definition 24/7 surveillance and recording with notifications and at least 30 days local storage on 6 cameras. I purchased the E330 4-camera kit (plug-in) with Homebase 3 along with two additional E330 cameras and a 4TB SSD hard drive to replace the included 1TB drive.Setup was problem free, activating/pairing and installing cameras was straight forward, replacing drive and formatting new drive was easy, and everything worked. I was shocked to see such high quality video.The features and abilities included in the system are outstanding. I’ve been able to do any task I’ve wanted to do and other tasks I didn’t even know I wanted to do, albeit a bit frustrating figuring it out. The Beta AI is also fun to play with. I will say that you’ll be spending quite a bit of time learning the app. Perfection is elusive, but I will say that most the features work pretty well after you figure out how to setup and implement them. I am able to store 67 days of HD video from all 6 cameras (24/7 recording) - and it’s stored locally and easy to access. No paying for cloud storage or the other access issues, and the system self deletes oldest days as the drive fills up.The cameras themselves are physically larger than the ones on my last system(s). They also have a blue light in the lens that is clearly visible from a distance at night. I’m not sure if this is good (deterrent) or bad (invite to destroy-steal) but I don’t anticipate any problems where mine are mounted.Overall, I think this system is an exceptional value for the money! I hope this system proves to be as reliable as my old ones were. Of course, I’ll edit this post if anything goes south, but for now, this system is a solid 5 based on both value and function (notwithstanding the elusiveness of perfection), and I would definitely buy again.

The video quality is nice and These load live video pretty quick.

These cameras are awesome with 4k resolution. I really like the multi-camera stitching to follow a person's movement from one camera to the next. We have had some recent issues with the system detecting inanimate objects as people, but hopefully more training will resolve that soon. These are wired for power so keep that in mind, if you don't want that they have battery camera kits available also.

The quality is great! Easy to install. I love that there isn’t a monthly fee. I love that they are always recording and you get alerts when there’s motion detected. The picture quality is great including when it’s dark outside.

The 4K cameras, and ability to extend through the home wifi is wonderful.Being able to add in a harddrive and have local storage is exactly what I was after.However, when the hard drive is full... it doesn't automatically remove the oldest video and keep going. It just stops recording videos instead. I had to reformat the drive ( erasing all the videos ) to get it to continue recording. I've read somewhere that this is a problem due to some of the beta features, but the beta features are part of the value prop in the marketing material. It is just astonishing.I really just want something to say, you added another camera, so your 90 days storage capacity is now 60 days. I'd assume all the space will be used all the time, but that I have history for some computed capacity given the recording quality and other 'clip' camera average occurance...

I got the 2 camera set, and I'm only running one camera now. Very clear video and sound. You can go from lower res to 8k. Cameras are hard wired for power, but Bluetooth to the homebase for vid. You will have to drop another 80 bucks at least for a hard drive for the homebase. Everything will work, but without the additional storage you won't get 24/7 recording. These have facial recognition, motion detection, and some AI stuff that allows a continuous vid of a subject as they move from one camera to the next. As I said though, I'm only running 1 camera and I have motion turned off. I record everything. When you do that you can hit the playback button on the app and scroll by date and time. There's no additional fees if you don't use their cloud backup, and if you have the additional storage you don't need to. 4 stars because you have to spend at least 80 bucks more for a hard drive. If you get this, just order the hard drive at the same time. Google will tell you which one.

Eufy is so far ahead of SimpliSafe it’s insane. Great system puts the rest to shame.

I am amazed at how well these cameras work that I'm going to replace all my cameras with Eufy cameras.

The camera and home base work exactly as advertized. Set-up is pretty easy. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility in the "snooze" settings--such as more hourly choices. Overall, it's an excellent product with no monthly subscription fee for storage of video. I do recommend getting a SSD for storage, however.The only bad news is that the home base quit working after a few days. The company did replace it under warrantee :)

Best camera system I have ever used, hands down. I was on the fence of getting an NVR reolink system and I was deterred by running all of the cables to get the surveillance I needed. This system records 24/7 and is expandable.You just need to run the power cables, which is not too much of a job and easier to route than cat6e.Make sure you either have a mesh WiFi system or a great wifi router….. the rest is history.
