TERRIBLE.

This product worked great for about a month. After that, this piece of junk died. It won't connect the camera to the monitor and the camera then spazzes out and won't stop moving or screaming at you. I reached out to customer service, and they sent me a new one, and it's worse!!! I've updated the firmware, I've tried everything. This product is so expensive for such POOR quality. Do yourself a favor and look at other brands.

Garbage

Night vision stopped working before even a year of use, kind of a crucial component to a baby monitor. Since the is was bought as a baby shower gift a few months before I started using it, it was therefore out of warranty. This seems to be a common issue that Eufy has no desire to fix. Steer clear.

Stopped working after 13 month

Same problem like everyone here. Camera stopped working after 13 month and no goodwill from customer service because warranty ended after 12 month. Firmware update did no help because it was a hardware problem. I would never buy it again.

Stopped working after 13 months

Same thing that happened to everyone else. At about 13 months (just past the 1 year warranty) the device stops working. Constant connection issues with the camera. Upgrading the firmware does nothing. Nobody should buy this baby monitor - when keeping an eye on your little one you need something reliable.

Product won’t last

Writing this so others don’t make the same decision we did! When we were doing our research this appeared to be a great monitor, reviews were good at the time, though since I am seeing reviews that reflect our exact experience.. our baby is about to turn 1 year and the monitor needs replacing! We received it as a gift for our baby shower, so it is out of warranty and the company does not stand behind their product to offer a replacement. We have maybe used the monitor for 6 months, at first we loved it but as time goes on it is becoming more and more glitchy. There is a constant static noice that keeps me awake at night, and the screen flashes on/off and I am unable to check on my baby. Frequently we get out of range alerts in areas we never originally did. I would not recommend this product unless you only need it short term.

Do not recommend

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this product. We used this camera as a non-WiFi option, but it frequently would say out of range even if it was immediately next to it. It also started moving on its own and making a very loud noise like someone else was controlling it. I reached out over chat and they gave me instructions to reset the camera. I tried this. When I reached out again over email, I was a week or two past the one year warranty and they told me that they didn’t have any evidence of my chat requests and the item was defective and they couldn’t replace it because I was 2 weeks out of warranty. I strongly do not recommend.

Do not buy!!

This product is terrible. I’ve had two replacements now and the second replacement came doing the exact same thing the one I sent in was. So not sure what is going on but I will have to buy something new. Parents rely on this. Make a product that doesn’t stop working 8 months after you get it. Only good thing about eufy was the customer service was nice.

Decent product, NIGHTMARE upgrade.

This firmware update nonsense needs to get sorted. In case some unlucky parent of a new, second or third baby, stumbles across this page hoping that customer support or someone in God's creation will explain why their monitor won't update but their camera will. Or worse, they upgraded their monitor only to find their camera is actually a firmware beyond that, and is considering selling their soul if only one person in all of this accursed existence would explain why no further attempts to upgrade the firmware of their monitor will work, keep your soul and read on. The camera will, as far as I can tell, take any update file you throw at it and guzzle it down happily. The monitor, for reasons only the sadist at eufy know, will only take one file before it needs to be formatted into NTFS format. After you do that, then you can upgrade the firmware. Which, incidentally, the monitor calls software. Someone smarter than me, and apparently eufy, will need to explain which is the right word to use. Oh, and just in case you're wondering: No, you can't downgrade the firm-soft-ware of either of these devices so the only way is forward through the technological nightmare. Once more into the breach and God save our soles.

Amazing Product Until it Wasn’t (Stopped Working Immediately After 12 Month Warranty)

Similar to many of the other reviews posted here, it initially worked great! Unfortunately, after 12 months when the warranty ended, the monitor had connectivity issues and slowly overtime had issues showing the picture. Initially it started switching back and forth between the screens, but now only shows the “baby monitor not connected” message. Customer service was polite but couldn’t actually do anything or provide any helpful solutions, which is disappointing since there seems to be a common theme in the recent reviews. I wouldn’t recommend for a long lasting product.

Very convenient to install - hit and miss with some detection

I do not have a wired doorbell so I operate this video doorbell with the battery. It has been a little over a month and battery level is at 40%. This was very easy to set up and in general, the Eufy app is good. However, the door bell has missed a few occasions where I see a package but there's no recording of the package getting delivered.
