I selected the Eufy equipment first because I have several devices from Anker. I did a lot of research on various types of camera systems, and this package checked most of the boxes.

This is for a future install, so I look forward to seeing the many features in action.

I love the cameras ,they are very good quality and functional as a private 24-7 CCTV system. The only thing you need to be aware of or that I would warn of is the fact that the POE cables that come with the system and the cameras is very short, only 58ft and I was told by the rep I spoke to on the phone before ordering that there would be eight 100 ft cables with the system and that was a lie because I only got 58ft cables and because of that it cost me an extra $98+ usd to buy more cables as well as inline couplers for those cables as I need at least 100ft of cables for 4 of my 8 cameras! As well as costing me more money than I should have had to spend it also kept me from being able to install my security system for an additional 2 weeks ordering and waiting for the extra cables and couplers! The cameras and the system are great,high quality, work well, I love it and it is a huge upgrade from our WiFi security cams, these have excellent video and audio and work very well at night as well as in the day, and I can view them 24-7 without interruption on a monitor on my wall without any hidden monthly fees or memberships and they work without being online so the system can remain entirely private.You only need to connect it to the internet if you want to use the phone app or the web portal. If like me you just want to be able to connect it straight to a monitor and keep your cameras private then it is as easy as plugging in the HDMI cable to a flat screen TV. I love that with all 8 cameras being plugged into, and getting their power from the DVR there is only one plug-in for a power source. I have mine plugged into a 1536 WH back up battery so even if the power goes out my security system will remain up and running and working normally! All and all I give it a positive rating and would recommend it to friends and family.Just be sure you get the length of cables you will need to connect all your cameras!

I would rate this 4.5 stars but the reason I’m giving it 5 is because I knew some of the limitations of this system.Pros: fast controls, excellent image quality, excellent tracking, great AI detection and recognition, great eufy App, so many cameras and being able to point the ptz a different direction than the top wide camera provides more coverage, NVR runs quiet and cool and is very responsiveCons: no HomeKit or Matter integration, small included hard drive (I upgraded to 8TB Seagate Nighthawk AI HD which suits my needs), no good web portal/can’t access the NVR unless it’s plugged directly into into a monitor which can be a pain if you mount it somewhere out of the wayOverall this is a great system, just know that you are going to want to put it somewhere easily accessible and if you are away you are relying solely on the app to control.

We've had cctv cameras for many years. The overall quality of the NVR cameras is like night and day.Initial setup is a breeze but be sure to remember' or better yet write down what your input was.The final setup will take a little longer because of all of the options that are available.The number one thing with Eufy, you don't have to pay for a cloud account but it's available if desired.

I’ve been using the 16MP Triple-Lens Bullet-PTZ Camera with my eufy NVR setup for a week now, and I’m honestly impressed. The wide-angle 4K lens gives me a crystal-clear view of my whole yard, while the PTZ camera automatically zooms in and follows anyone who walks through—it’s almost like having a security guard on duty 24/7. The auto-framing is surprisingly smooth, and I was able to clearly see details from far away.Night vision is another big win here. Even without the spotlight on, the starlight color mode picks up colors in the dark that I didn’t think were possible, and turning on HDR makes license plates much easier to read. For security, the red/blue strobe and siren are great deterrents—I tested them out and they’re definitely attention-grabbing.The AI detection is spot-on. It can tell the difference between Animals, passing cars, and actual people, so I’m not bombarded with useless alerts anymore. Setup was pretty simple too since it runs on PoE, and I like knowing it’s recording 24/7 without relying on Wi-Fi. The two-way talk works well with little background noise, and the build feels rugged enough to handle weather without issues.Overall, this camera gives me peace of mind and delivers the kind of smart tracking and clarity that I just haven’t seen in other systems. If you already have the eufy PoE NVR, this is a serious upgrade worth considering.

Picture quality is fantastic. This camera is way better than any security systems I had before. It is definitely worth the money for all the security features it includes.
