eufy PoE NVR Security System S4 Max + 4 PoE Cam S4 Add-Ons

Beautiful quality. I was shocked how easy this was to set up. We have a cabin up north and needed a way to monitor it 24/7. TAKE NOTE: if you want to access the cameras when you're not local to the network theyre on (like at the house and on wifi), you need to ENABLE UID on the NVR BEFORE you drive several hours away. In the event that you do it anyways like I did and trying to figure out if you need to drive back, have no fear!Configure port forwarding on port 9000, and connect via the reolink app to the IP address of your NVR. You can enable UID that way.Little known fact: Running through UID routes your footage eufy servers, and compresses it to low quality after some time. If you keep the port forwarding on, and stay connected purely via IP address/port, then your footage is NOT routed thru reolink servers, and you can keep it streaming in HD all day.

Has good functionality. Good features. Easy to setup. Good motion detection. Good range. Good connection.

We have had a Samsung security system for well Uber 10 years and now, about half of that 10 years, I have really been fighting to keep the cameras alive and they've been troopers and held app well but several times they've gone out and I've been left with nothing so getting these cameras. While still leaving the old ones up is a great way to have a piece of mind that I will never Miss A thing. Although now, my old camera's look like ancient relics. Compared to these as not only does the picture quality far far exceed that of the old cameras, the features on these new ones are amazing, the A. I tracking and facial recognition type stuff is great and actually works very good like surprisingly good. The only negative I have noticed so far is that it is a little heavy on the notifications. But there's plenty of settings that you can adjust to change that also compared to the old cameras, these ones were an absolute breeze to set up literally the easiest quickest simplest cameras. I've ever set up in my life. And made everything so much more enjoyable and quicker the night vision on these is absolutely incredible. The regular infrared is good or they also have their special colored night vision mode. That looks as good as day in almost pitch black darkness. It's really, really impressive. What they've done with these cameras and I can genuinely say that I am impressed so far.

This kit is amazing, couldn't be happier. This is eufy's first NVR PoE camera system and I was amazed with it.S4 cameras are 2 in 1. Bullet + PTZ. You can have 2 separate views at the same time or you can have the PTZ on auto patrol covering even larger areas.- NVR. It came with 2tb HDD, supports 24/7 recording, has 8 ports in the back, plus 1 for lan, USB A slots, and USB C slot. Storage is upgradable upto 16tb. I ran cat6 throughout my home. Crimping Passthrough cables was a good choice I made.- Bullet + PTZ.This camera can be setup where both parts of the camera are linked with each other. For example, if bullet camera is facing driveway, and PTZ is facing the side yard, when motion is detected in driveway, the PTZ will turn towards driveway and capture the action.- AI tracking and Auto framing.One of the functions in PTZ is AI tracking and auto framing. Let's say if you walk by the camera, the PTZ will lock on you and keep tracking you. With time as you'll put distance between you and the camera, the telephoto lens will kick in and auto zoom on you while tracking. This has been very useful.- Live Cross-Camera tracking.I love it. Works between S4 cameras. You can set a "hot zone" in one camera, and add another camera as a "relay" device. What this does is once the first camera detects motion, it triggers the 2nd camera to turn around so you can track it from multiple angels.- Smart search.This feature has been very helpful. You can search by keywords and AI will show you the results. For example "person in blue shirt" or even "lawn mowing" showed exactly those results.- Spotlight/Alarm light.Cameras have very bright spotlight that turns on at night time. When the cameras are armed, that same spot light can be used, or the separate flashing blue/red lights can be used. That was awesome.Overall it's very good and I'd definitely recommend it.

Excellent Security Solution – Highly Recommended!We’ve been part of the Eufy (Anker) platform for over 6 years now, and it just keeps getting better. Most recently, we upgraded to a setup with 4 PTZ cameras, and we couldn’t be happier.The tracking feature is outstanding—it follows movement smoothly and helps ensure nothing goes unnoticed. The AI smart search and event search functions are game-changers, making it easy to go back and find exactly what you’re looking for without wasting time scrubbing through hours of footage. The alerts are accurate and timely, and we love being able to stay on top of things, even when we’re away.

So, I have 8 S4 max camera and they are amazing.they 8 camera are exactly as described in every way. Eufy has knocked this on out of the park. Itbis truly a professional level NVR POE system at a affordable consumer price. I have been using Eufy for a few years now and they continue to improve and press the envelope. The cross-tracking and smart search work insanely well. I would recommend this system to anyone that want a security system that will eliminate blind spot track activity around your property and is expandable. EUFY should create a standalone application just for the NVR. Also the management of detected events seems to be slow at the moment of get access. In addition, there is no way to zoom the live view. The tracking cameras should be 4K as well.

Shipping was a nightmare. When they said everything shipped it did not. I had trouble getting my entire order. Customer Service was not much of help. I continued getting per written response with names of staff just add their names. I felt just like another number instead of a customer. Communication was very dissatisfying.

While I’m sure the cameras are great, the customer service has been atrocious. I feel like I’m getting g generic AI emails that aren’t listening to my issue or trying to help me. I still haven’t received anyone reaching out to ask about my camera needs after asking multiple times. I’ve heard good things about this product. Not sure I want the hassle of ordering again. Disappointed!
