eufy PoE NVR Security System S4 Max+Turret Camera E41+ Bullet Camera E40

Went from Ring to this, and wow what a game changer...if you're having 2nd thoughts about it, pull the trigger. It's like a professional security system for DIY homeowners. I'm ocd about my installs so everything is hidden and snaked, clipped and zipped along beams, etc so no wires are visible anywhere and cameras are secure. The only change I made was running pure copper shielded cat 6 instead of the cat 5 that came with the cameras, because of data speed and transmission time delays. Loving everything so far, but I need to space out my notifications because I've noticed I can't snooze from my phone. Anyhow, worth the price of admission for home security, no subscription, and amazing clarity and peace of mind. Will probably add a few more just because, why not?

I did the research and check out videos. The cameras cover everything. The local AI distinguishes between human, vehicle, and pet very well. The settings gives you many options to cover the alerts you want.
I was reluctant about the price, but it is worth it and the system is expandable.

I would rate this 4.5 stars but the reason I’m giving it 5 is because I knew some of the limitations of this system.Pros: fast controls, excellent image quality, excellent tracking, great AI detection and recognition, great eufy App, so many cameras and being able to point the ptz a different direction than the top wide camera provides more coverage, NVR runs quiet and cool and is very responsiveCons: no HomeKit or Matter integration, small included hard drive (I upgraded to 8TB Seagate Nighthawk AI HD which suits my needs), no good web portal/can’t access the NVR unless it’s plugged directly into into a monitor which can be a pain if you mount it somewhere out of the wayOverall this is a great system, just know that you are going to want to put it somewhere easily accessible and if you are away you are relying solely on the app to control.

We've had cctv cameras for many years. The overall quality of the NVR cameras is like night and day.Initial setup is a breeze but be sure to remember' or better yet write down what your input was.The final setup will take a little longer because of all of the options that are available.The number one thing with Eufy, you don't have to pay for a cloud account but it's available if desired.

Got this several weeks ago and it is a superb system. The installation was fairly easy (running wires in August on an tropical island is a very uncomfortable proposition!). The central unit, the size of a blue ray player, is cutting edge and it controls the cameras, 8 in total, 4 fixed and 4 AI Assist moveable with up to 8x magnification. The pictures from the 4k/4k cameras is impeccable. The fixed cams have a 120 degree viewing angle for capturing a huge swath of property. My home is elevated 17 feet and there are three points of entry downstairs and I have 2 units covering them and then there are two external doors on the second floor are covered by the other two. The system was so easy to set up that when I saw the quality of the imagery, the sound quality and tje AI recognition and allerts, I was sold on Eufy as the system that kicks butt in security and the one alll the other companies in this arena are scrambling to be!

Beautiful quality. I was shocked how easy this was to set up. We have a cabin up north and needed a way to monitor it 24/7. TAKE NOTE: if you want to access the cameras when you're not local to the network theyre on (like at the house and on wifi), you need to ENABLE UID on the NVR BEFORE you drive several hours away. In the event that you do it anyways like I did and trying to figure out if you need to drive back, have no fear!Configure port forwarding on port 9000, and connect via the reolink app to the IP address of your NVR. You can enable UID that way.Little known fact: Running through UID routes your footage eufy servers, and compresses it to low quality after some time. If you keep the port forwarding on, and stay connected purely via IP address/port, then your footage is NOT routed thru reolink servers, and you can keep it streaming in HD all day.

Has good functionality. Good features. Easy to setup. Good motion detection. Good range. Good connection.

We have had a Samsung security system for well Uber 10 years and now, about half of that 10 years, I have really been fighting to keep the cameras alive and they've been troopers and held app well but several times they've gone out and I've been left with nothing so getting these cameras. While still leaving the old ones up is a great way to have a piece of mind that I will never Miss A thing. Although now, my old camera's look like ancient relics. Compared to these as not only does the picture quality far far exceed that of the old cameras, the features on these new ones are amazing, the A. I tracking and facial recognition type stuff is great and actually works very good like surprisingly good. The only negative I have noticed so far is that it is a little heavy on the notifications. But there's plenty of settings that you can adjust to change that also compared to the old cameras, these ones were an absolute breeze to set up literally the easiest quickest simplest cameras. I've ever set up in my life. And made everything so much more enjoyable and quicker the night vision on these is absolutely incredible. The regular infrared is good or they also have their special colored night vision mode. That looks as good as day in almost pitch black darkness. It's really, really impressive. What they've done with these cameras and I can genuinely say that I am impressed so far.
