FAQ
How does S1 Pro’s Roller Brush Mop Design Enhance Mopping Performance?
S1 Pro’s roller brush mop system is engineered to deliver exceptional mopping performance through several advanced features:
- Automatic Base Station Mop Washing: S1 Pro autonomously returns to its base station to wash the mop pad, ensuring a clean mop at the start of each cleaning session and consistent results.
- Continuous Mop Self-Cleaning: During its cleaning cycle, S1 Pro constantly cleans the mop pad in real-time, removing dirt and debris into a separate compartment. This maintains the mop’s cleanliness and enhances floor cleaning effectiveness.
- Automated Mop Drying Function: After cleaning, S1 Pro initiates a mop drying process, preventing odors and inhibiting bacterial growth. This makes your home’s floors more hygienic and safer for all family members, including the elderly.
- S1 Pro’s intelligent navigation system further ensures efficient coverage of the cleaning area, making it a convenient and reliable cleaning companion for users of all ages.
Is it possible to use my own cleaning solution with the S1 Pro, provided that I mix it at the correct ratio?
We do not recommend adding other cleaning liquids arbitrarily. Some cleaning solutions can be corrosive and may damage the internal structure of the robot. High-foaming cleaning liquids may also cause sensor misreadings, affecting the robot’s operation. Therefore, we suggest using our dedicated cleaning solution. Additionally, our cleaning solution has undergone rigorous reliability and non-toxicity testing.
Tips for Using the Obstacle Detection and Avoidance Capabilities of the Robot Vacuum
S1 Pro robot vacuum is equipped with advanced sensors that allow it to detect and avoid obstacles as small as 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm. To ensure the most efficient cleaning, it's advisable to clear the floor of any items smaller than this threshold before starting a cleaning session.
If you notice that the vacuum is not effectively picking up pet hair or other fine debris, or if it mistakenly identifies long carpet fibers as obstacles, avoids cleaning under furniture, or keeps a considerable distance from cabinet edges, you may need to adjust its settings for better performance. Here’s how to do it:
Open the eufy Clean app.
Go to the Settings page.
Select 'Robot Settings'.
Disable the 'Tiny Obstacle Avoidance' feature.
Disabling 'Tiny Obstacle Avoidance' allows S1 Pro to pick up smaller debris without avoiding them. However, note that with this feature turned off, the robot will only pass under furniture if the clearance height is over 10.2 cm. Be aware that deactivating this feature could cause the vacuum to interact with and potentially collect very small objects, which may increase the risk of blockages or damage. Therefore, it is recommended to use this setting cautiously and to monitor the vacuum’s performance to ensure it meets your cleaning needs.
How Can I Ensure S1 Pro Works Effectively on Carpeted Areas During Mopping Sessions?
S1 Pro is designed to handle carpeted areas with ease, thanks to its intelligent features:
- Carpet Detection Technology: Equipped with sensors, S1 Pro detects carpets and automatically lifts the rolling mop to avoid wetting the carpet during mopping.
- Customizable No-Go Zones: For carpets with a pile height exceeding 2.5 cm (0.9 inches) or those that are particularly light and thin, create no-go zones within the app. This prevents the robot from getting trapped or tangled in carpet fibers.
- Carpet Edge Management: If your carpet edges tend to curl, flatten or secure them to ensure smooth navigation for S1 Pro.
- Avoidance of Dark or Reflective Surfaces: Remove black or highly reflective objects near thresholds to prevent confusion in the robot’s navigation system.
- No-Mop Zones: Designate no-mop zones in areas where the mop might not lift in time, ensuring your carpets remain dry. By following these guidelines, you can optimize S1 Pro’s mopping performance and maintain the cleanliness of both your hard floors and carpeted areas without manual intervention.
