What's the difference between this bullet-ptz camera and using two separate cameras?
The two built-in cameras work together more intelligently than separate devices, providing both a full view and a detailed close-up from a single installation. Auto-tracking begins with either camera, then PTZ zooms in and follows the action. Tap in the app to instantly move the PTZ to a point on the bullet cam's view.
How does bullet-to-PTZ tracking work?
The fixed camera detects motion and triggers the PTZ to rotate and zoom using AI tracking. If the bullet and PTZ angles differ, tracking handoff may be slower. For faster response, point the PTZ toward your key area for quicker detection.
Does eufyCam S4 support 24/7 recording?
The camera can be connected to direct power (requires a 5V/2A or higher power adapter) for 24/7 recording. When connected to HomeBase 3 (version xxx and above), external hard drive storage is required. To use it alone, a microSD card is required.
What is eufyCam S4's preset positon feature?
The preset position feature lets you save specific camera angles and set one as the default position. With one tap, the camera moves quickly to any saved spot, making it easy to monitor key areas.
Can it work standalone or with HomeBase 2 / HomeKit?
It works as a standalone device (connected directly to your router) or with HomeBase 3 for more features. HomeBase 2 and HomeKit are not currently suported.
What privacy features does eufyCam S4 have?
It supports dynamic privacy zones, keeping designated areas masked during PTZ movement. All footage is stored locally with advanced encryption, ensuring continuous privacy protection and secure data storage.
What is Fusion Link?
