eufy Familock S3 + HomeBase™ S380

I just bought the eufy Familock S3 and initially upon receiving it and installing it which is very easy DIY installation without having to spend money on professional services.(another reason why eufy is a leading brand). I noticed that the lock would make loud noise when locking automatically & noticed that the internal cylinder of the lock itself was not centered. Prior to the installation I did see noticeable damage on it. Eufy Customer service is top notch and are very understandable & always willing to help resolve any issues in a timely manner. This is a genuine review based on my personal experience with eufy product and eufy Customer centric approach. They are the best in what they do

I have several smart locks around the house and I didn't think I needed anymore. Well, when this popped up in my recommended I figured I would give it a try. I've had this lock going on six months now and so far, it's not going anywhere.I do have other Eufy products, so adding this device to the app and my home wasn't an issue. I do have a Eufy Homebase, which may add to the ease of install on the app.The battery life is surprising and I love the fact that it has a backup battery system. In the six months since we've owned it, I've charged the battery once and when I charged it after a few months it wasn't at 50%.The smart lock gets used multiple times a day with the kids coming in and out from school throughout the day. The palm scanning feature is just a chef's kiss and it hasn't missed. I only use this feature, but the keypad does also get used daily by the kids.The only issue I've had is that it's jammed twice since I've had it. If you have the key it's fairly easy to "jiggle" it and get it to respond. I'm not exactly aware of the issue, but it's so rare. The second time it happened I just pulled the door and then tapped it. Not sure if it was a pin, but it was definitely something internal.This thing is holding up quite well under the use and you can set up your app notifications as you need to. The front camera is really good and you're able to view what's on the camera pretty well even when it's darker.The noise level is what you'd expect from a lock like this. We can definitely hear when the kids get home at night, but it's not that bad.All the instructions you need are included and it really is easy install.I've got a video I'll upload to show the palm scanning. It really is fast on the response.

It’s been good so far family has been using it and works well. Our house does not have a doorbell so this is very convenient. Only issue we have had is setting up my grandchild’s palm for access.

Got the first one as soon as the price dropped from ridiculous to overpriced as I wanted to check out the technology of palm scanning.Now that I have used it for a few weeks I am so impressed that I got a second one due to the convenience.Installation and setup was super easy with video’s integrated into the app and so far it works as advertised. Wet hands…not a problem. Maybe winter will cause some issues? Will report back when that comes around.I did not doc a star but charging the battery did seem to take a very long time with a high wattage charger. Not sure what is up with that. The backup AAA will operate the lock with the code but not with the scanner so keep that in mind.

It reads your palm accurately and quickly. Installation was simple. Works great and I eliminated having a separate smart lock and doorbell camera, so now just one app. The hardware is robust and provides a secure feeling. There is a keypad and physical key providing options in the event that something goes wrong but so far it’s been perfect. Very happy with it.

This lock is awesome, camera, ring bell, electronic lock and physical keys. The installation was easy and quick integration with the Eufy app.Now the best part… open the door like a true Jedi, this is awesome � the best lock for any Star Wars �

This was the first generation of smart door lock I felt comfortable adopting, and I'm pleased with it! I run a diverse Alexa-based smart home setup, and was looking to add a door lock. However, I refused to trust a fingerprint reader or facial recognition built into a lock. The vein sensing tech, however, seemed worth trying, and I'm pleased to report it does work well! The other major features are all solid; unauthorized users have been unable to spoof the vein scanner, and it paired well with Alexa. My only concern now is that with this door lock, I now have 4 camera lenses in my entryway, which looks a bit intense. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean people aren't out to get ya, right?
