What situations are suitable for using the battery-powered camera?
The camera works great whether plugged in or running on its 5,000mAh built-in battery, ensuring seamless use during trips or power outages. When using battery power, you can expect about 9 hours of use and around 5.5 hours with night vision.
What detection features does the camera have?
The camera features cry detection, loud noise detection, and temperature monitoring. You can adjust the sensitivity for cry and noise detection with five different levels and set the push notification intervals to avoid frequent disturbances.
How do I update the firmware for the monitor and camera?
Ensure your device is linked to the eufy Baby app.
- Camera: Open the eufy Baby app, and go to Me > My Devices > Settings > About Device > Firmware Update.
- Monitor: On the screen, go to Monitor Settings > About Device > Firmware Update.
What does the Wi-Fi switch do on the camera?
The Wi-Fi switch is there to protect your privacy and security. When it's turned on, the camera connects to your router, letting you view the livestream on the app. If you turn it off, the camera will only connect to the monitor.
What does Smart Connect do on the monitor?
Normally, the monitor connects directly to the camera without Wi-Fi, but the range can be limited. If they're too far apart and the signal weakens, Smart Connect lets them use your home router for a more stable connection.

Note: To ensure optimal suction, sterilize all washable components by either boiling them for 5 minutes with continuous stirring or steaming them for 5 minutes prior to the first use. Make sure that the duckbill valve, flange tunnel, diaphragm, and pump hub are all securely sealed.

I had trouble connecting to the Eufy Baby App. I scanned the QR Code and it said “invalid”. Power cycled my cellphone, and it scanned and connected to my phone. Camera is super clear, runs smooth. Love this thing.

Love the new upgrades from the 2K version. The quality is amazing! Love that you can do two audio now. I wish the split screen view was available on the mobile devices and not only on the portable monitor. For the future updates/upgrades is it possible to allow a larger micro sd to be used? Or have this device link to your Eufy Security HomeBase.

Almost Perfect.

It would be great if the “One Click focus” icon would go away once you click it. It obstructs our baby’s face when in her crib and it’s really annoying.

There needs to be a warning if the battery is low on either the monitor or camera, which I’m surprised is not already built-in.

The time is shown twice on the monitor for some reason, and one is 10-15 seconds slower than the other.

It would be amazing if there was an option to schedule when 24/7 recording starts and ends.

Nice! Need more alert options.

Overall it seems nice, the picture is very clear and clean, nice wide angle, but not too wide, the signal strength is great, the app is a little less friendly then other platforms we have used but it’s fine. it’s definitely lacking in the alert detail. Our camera died in the middle of the night and the monitor does not alert you to the disconnect, that is a major issue in our opinion..(camera came unplugged the day before and we didn’t notice) on that note battery life of the camera itself is great! The screen does show battery life of both the camera and monitor, but it’s a very tiny icon and again, no alarm for low battery, Haven’t really had the monitor off the base much so can’t give a review on that battery life. Having the base is also very nice. Set up was super easy, I just turned it on and it worked.

Missing some features

Monitor feels like it was made by people who are good with cameras but have never actually had kids. Camera picture quality, ease of use, range, battery life are all great. There is a glitching lag every few seconds while using the app to view that is a bit annoying. The bigger problem is the alert options and split screen. Alerts for loosing connection, camera dying or parent unit dying are pop ups with no sound. If you lost connection while sleeping you’d have no idea and could miss your kid needing you. I prefer monitors that give the option to have a repeated loud sound to make sure I wake up. For split screen I had ordered two full sets of units to test and confirmed after with eufy support that while in split screen mode you get no audio from either camera. You have to select one to make full screen to get audio which defeats the purpose of wanting a split screen camera. Maybe this will get resolved when they actually release the second stand alone camera? I’d also like to be able to flip the view of the camera based one where I needed to mount it.

It over all works well and the camera built in battery has come in handy. But currently wouldn’t work for a two camera set up and leaves me anxious every night going to bed with the lack of alert for connection issues

Confused About Additional Camera

Love this monitor but I’m very confused how to purchase an additional camera and pair it. There is no sale of the E21 Camera that comes with the monitor as just an individual camera. Then I have two old Add-On Cameras from our previous Eufy Monitor and those do not work either. Would love some assistance in direction to purchasing an additional camera that will work.

Never got to review the product. I had the same experience as others. Bought on the Black Friday discount, no word that it was delayed even though you can currently buy it for full price on amazon and receive it tomorrow. i called to check up on my order and they said it was cancelled, even i never cancelled it and didnt receive a notification about that. Also after i decided to not buy it again, i just got my purchase refunded today. Just an odd coincidence. probably why everyone buys from amazon… Be better with consumers that buy your product

Terrible. Don’t waste your money.

This baby monitor has been a complete waste of money. I have been happy with my other Eufy products (doorbell, outdoors cameras, robot vacuum) so this was very disappointing. My biggest complaint is that the connection between camera and monitor is intermittent. Connection is lost several times each nap despite being in close proximity. I will be purchasing a different camera when we move baby to her own room because I do not trust this monitor to work throughout the night when I’m not keeping an eye on it. This issue makes me question if our outdoor cameras aren’t working as well as I thought they were.

Second major complaint is that the system on/off is clunky. Maybe I’m an idiot and overlooking something, but to turn the entire system off, you have to unplug the camera, turn the camera off, then turn the monitor off. It’s an annoying 3 step process.

Buyer's Beware

I placed an order for this product on November 30th, with the payment charged upfront. Despite this, I have yet to receive a clear update from Eufy regarding the status of my order.

Customer service has been highly unsatisfactory, providing only generic, canned responses. Initially, I was told my order would arrive in a few days, but now I’m being informed that it’s out of stock indefinitely.

This lack of transparency and reliability is unacceptable. I recommend looking into the many competitor products available in the market to avoid a similar experience.
