Installed and very happy

Way more reliable than my previous WiFi cameras. All of the cameras were able to remain fixed in position and did not have dropouts due to a wired connection. Therefore, I did not experience the missed recording, lag, and/or signal interference that occurred with my previous setup. In addition, night vision is quite solid. I am not sure what it is, but at night it switches to kind of like an IR black and white setup. Motion notifications are fast, and you can fine-tune them in the app. The longest part of the installation is really just running the PoE wires; the instructions are clear.I also upgraded the NVR's internal hard disk with an 8 TB Western Digital (WD). I was able to dramatically increase the amount of time I could store footage for continuous use without needing to come back and delete previously recorded material. With all the wired channels installed throughout my house, I am able to provide near complete coverage without requiring any maintenance. So far very durable, and I am 100% satisfied with these cameras.

Love this NVR system! Installation was very easy, but time consuming to run Ethernet to all the cameras. Everything was pretty much plug and play which was great! I love that I can control the cameras and settings from the app or from the NVR itself using an external monitor. The only thing I do wish is that it came with a hard drive with more storage, I did end up buying a separate mor hard drive with more space, but the installation for that was a breeze. Was a simple swap internally and everything loaded up without needing to do a thing. I do also wish that the Ethernet cables it came with were at least 100ft rather than 60ft. Eufy usually finds bugs pretty quickly and pushes out firmware to fix which is also nice. Also their customer service is top notch! I would definitely recommend this system.

I've been using the eufy PoE NVR Security System E40 for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for home security. With 4K UHD resolution, the clarity is incredible, making it easy to identify details even from a distance. The 122° field of view means I can cover a lot of ground with fewer cameras, which is a big plus. I love the color night vision feature — it gives me peace of mind knowing I can still see clearly even in low light. The AI detection is spot on, reducing false alarms significantly. It’s nice not to be alerted every time a tree branch sways in the wind. The red and blue strobe is a neat feature too, providing an extra layer of security. Setting up the system was straightforward, thanks to the PoE setup. Everything feels solidly built and reliable. The 2TB HDD provides ample storage for 24/7 recording, which is perfect when I’m away for extended periods. Overall, this system offers great value and performance, and I’m impressed with how it’s enhanced my home’s security.

This is a robust wired security solution. Just be aware that it is wired! You would have to have power over ethernet to get these cameras running, so you must run cables if you don't have them already.Right out of the box, I was impressed with the straightforward setup. The "plug and play" PoE design is no exaggeration; running a single Ethernet cable for both power and data to each camera made the installation incredibly clean and simple, and if you're into networking, you know this!The video quality is exceptional. The 4K resolution provides stunningly sharp, clear images, and the field of view is wide and complete. The color night vision is great and it's remarkable how much detail and color it can capture in very low light, even without the spotlight.Having local, on board AI is great and it does a fantastic job of accurately identifying genuine threats and tracking them, which means I'm not getting bombarded with false alerts. The Smart Video Search is a game-changer; being able to find events by searching for "person" or "vehicle" is a massive time-saver. The 2TB hard drive is generous, and I love having 24/7 recording without any monthly fees. This is a high-performance system I'd absolutely recommend.

easy for setup, easy for installation. just put the camera on the place u need, connect it. and the nvr start working.video quality is good. night vision working good. its a litte expensive than other brand, but its worths.

Ive had a few surveillance set ups but this one is next level! Install is straight forward as any other. Set up is straight forward as well. What sets this kit apart is the A.I. features and stunning camera quality. Video quality is superb! Very clear and and the best quality is have seen. I can read license plates and distinguish people's faces. The night vision is excellent! This kit is pricey but excellent quality!

Great unit overall. I have some words about the UI and setup, but this is common with any DVR. It is locked to eufy cameras. But it will substream to common formats for external processing. The default settings will eat up the HDD really fast so you will want to change these. The local AI is far superior to even subscription services I have tried in the past. Very few false alarms. The supplied cables are about 70ft - this is good enough for most homes. You can press your luck with a longer cable or inject at the camera. The picture quality is great, you can choose between IR or full color night vision, this is handy because certain situations don't always work with either. The app is so-so for me, also common in this space, but it gets the job done. I didn't think to check if you can run the lan from the DVR to a PoE without issue. I don't have the need. I came close to no slack on one of my runs, but I made it work.

Set up was easily and picture quality is excellent Bullet cams were perfect for our needs.
