Basic, effective vacuum

Just push auto and it goes, good battery, like that it doesn’t talk. Nice and simple, picks up a lot. I still need to vacuum dog hair off the rug with a stronger vac, but great on wood and tile floors. Don’t expect perfection, but is a great help. I run it daily. Compared to the two Deebots I have had it is very similar. It beeps if something wrong and has a chart on the bottom explaining beeps and what to fix.

Overall am pleased. I’m not sure why there cannot be two front spinning brushes out front instead of only one to help pull in more debris. And I wish it recognized magnetic strips as boundary markers like 30C.

Watch The Internet Advertising

The RoboVac 15C Max was a great purchase for the price. However, internet advertising was misleading. The web page showed the 15C Max with 2 brushes, left and right. The 15C Max I received only had 1 brush, the right side. When eufy was contacted, they stated that the one brush 15C Max was an engineering up-grade. Regardless, false advertising. And no remote was included, even though I believed a remote was implied in advertising

Have tried for day to get the Vac to hook up with my wifi and I need to speak to a live person. The written instructions are different and none qork. I have everything working on my wifi and no issues!

They all die the same way . . .

This is my 3rd 15C Max and my 5th Eufy RoboVac.

All of the Eufy vacs seem to die a common way . . . they eventually run in continuous circles until dead. I've dismantled several and all bumpers, wheels, are working fine.

I continue to buy them because their economical, quiet, and work for about a year before succumbing to insanity. Maybe I run them too much?!?

Beware: Battery replacement doesn't work and Customer Support doesn't seek to help

After 2 years of perfect functioning operation, the battery indicator suggested it needed replacement so I bought one directly from Eufy. You have to go through an unnecessarily complex initialization process to change a battery and then I kept getting error beeps and red light. I reached out to Customer Support 3 times before they definitively said they wouldn't seek to resolve the new battery issue. BTW, the machine works fine and recharges fine with the new battery despite the error beeps after recharging. Customer Support offered a discount if I purchase a new unit but wouldn't tell me upfront how much that is. Bad quality product, bad replacement battery experience, bad customer support. Avoid at all costs.

Older model worked better

Purchased my first Eufy in June 2021. That machine never ran into a piece of furniture. After easily 100K miles, it finally needed to be replaced. I ordered a new one. I thought it was defective, returned it because it ran into everything but the replacement machine also runs into everything. Such a diminishment in quality. Sorry I recommended it to a lot of folks. What happened Anker????

Quite possibly the dumbest smart vacuum you can buy

Just because you say, it’s smart, doesn’t mean it’s smart. Its methodology of vacuuming around your house is about the same as a ping-pong ball rolling across your floor. Suction leaves much to be desired. Constantly getting stuck. Watched it for 10 minutes. Try to go up the Christmas tree leg eight different ways and when I tried to free it proceeds to immediately get stuck somewhere else. 10 minutes later it’s right back under the Christmas tree always getting stuck in one room and not vacuuming the rest of the house due to its ping pong ball method of vacuuming so I have to move it into a completely different room just so that will get vacuumed, but that’s if it still has enough battery to even do anything at that point. terrible brand probably will switch to another one.
