RoboVac 30C MAX

I am very happy with my choice of the RoboVac 30C MAX. I was originally considering a "smarter" version with mapping and mopping functionalities; however, I ultimately decided on the basic bounce-around model.
Firstly, the mopping option would require babysitting and planning (setting no-go boundaries to avoid carpets when mopping was in use, prepping the solution, dumping the dirty liquid, etc.) that I just didn't care to get involved with. I also read reviews that the mopping vacuums left streaks. I'll stick to me squirt mop with machine-washable mopping pad.
Secondly, the smarter mapping models would also require more babysitting by telling the vacuum where I wanted it to go if the first pass didn't clean up thoroughly enough. Based on reviews and videos provided on the website, these smart mapping models were "more efficient" by only making a single pass over a given area--sticking to a single back & forth pattern moving over one vacuum width at a time. These models also only had one rotating brush out front--so if that single brush knocked debris too far out of the path of the suction (baseball bat swinging style on a hard surface floor), then the debris may not get picked up at all because of the single back & forth pattern having already passed over the area the debris got knocked into. Or that single spinning brush out front may not be on same side of the wall edge the vacuum was driving down. Therefore, I would need to go into the app and tell it to re-clean an area to make sure it picked everything up. That doesn't feel efficient to babysit the robot. I was also fearful the back & forth pattern would not allow the vacuum to clean under & around table/chair legs--hitting a leg and turning back the way it came from instead of going around the leg and under the table.
Therefore, I am very pleased with the bounce-around navigation of the RoboVac 30C MAX. I think it is ultimately more efficient at cleaning my floors because it automatically will make more passes over the same area without me telling it to. The battery life is long enough to make multiple passes over the same area while still covering all of my flooring. I like that the app still allows me to manually navigate the vacuum to a particular area, although sometimes I'd rather just pick it up and place it where I want it. The app also allows me to tell the vacuum to spin outward in a spiral pattern to focus on a particular area or to tell the vacuum to stick to a wall edge (RoboVac 30C MAX has two spinning brushes out front so either side of the vacuum can pull debris out from wall edge). I can increase the suction power when the vacuum is running on carpeting, also from within the app. The app tells me when the vacuum is stuck or the drop sensors need cleaned.

After a great deal of research we purchased our Eufy 30C Max and it has been a game changer for our allergies. It is AMAZING how much dust and dirt that we have and Rosie (our nickname) has definitely helped keep the dust down. Rosie is quiet and her low profile allows her to go under our furniture. (Many people have commented that our RoboVac is so quiet). If you’re looking for a great vac ….look no further.

I have a dog who was about to run me out of my own house! ….my 30C Max Eufy saved him - and me!! It’s the best purchase I’ve made in a very long time!! Highly recommend!!!

This is a very good machine. Sometimes he goes where I don't want him to, so I set out the boundry strip to keep him out. A lot more suction than another brand that I had purchased for my daughter. I Highly suggest this one. So much, that I purchased two more as gifts to my parents.

I love this robot! It does a terrific job and goes for a long time one a single charge. It is easy to empty and is really effective on pet hair.

I purchased a Eufy a few years ago and it broke. It was going to cost more to fix it than to buy a new one. The service technician said that a Roomba was better. I bought a Roomba. I have an Irish Setter and he sheds a lot. I had dog hair all over my house after the Roomba ran. I decided to replace it with a Eufy. Oh my gosh. It cleans my whole house and it is wonderful. The Roomba only vacuumed for an hour and left clumps of hair on my rugs. I love it. The only issue I have is that the App will not work because my Wifi network band is only 5 GHz. I just have to manually turn it on.

I didn’t believe all the hype about these robot-type cleaners until I was visiting my son and saw what it picked up each morning. I didn’t want to spend $500 and he recommended this make. I have been extremely impressed with the amount of dirt, dust and dog hair it picks up every day.

The pictures speak for themselves. It easily cleaned about 90% of my one level house. With a house full of little ones this is so handy. It even picked up my girls small hair clips. It’s going to save me so much time. It only got stuck once. It cleans under my breakfast table very well, living room with a rug, the kids rooms, the bathrooms, halls, etc. It has issues sometimes finding her charging dock but not a huge deal for me. So worth the buy!
