Lost my original chime in a recent home move so purchased a replacement for my house in the US. Received the chime however had the plastic plug adapter fit for UK plugs. Emailed customer service who instructed I needed to send back the entire unit for replacement and once received, they would ship my replacement unit. Several weeks in the making.
This raised some questions for me: 1) why not just ship me a US adapter to replace the UK version or 2) send me the replacement unit, then ask that I return the other. Not overly bothered that I received the wrong adapter, more bothered that they wanted me to wait several weeks to get a replacement. Had I bought this on Amazon (which I would have if it was available) they would have replaced it immediately. I did receive a response to my email back to customer service questioning this and would have score this purchase a 1 had they not agreed to ship me out a replacement prior to me sending back the original.
