Recent Hard Drive purchase

When I bought a great security system from Eufy, the only thing that I missed was an upgraded hard drive. I purchased the 1 TB hard drive from Eufy and it was easy to align with the security system. It only took me a short time and the system recognized the upgrade.

Everything works as it should and I like how it’s one central place to store video. Only thing I can’t seem to figure out is cross camera tracking for my outdoor/door bell camera but all indoor cameras are working as it should.

Thought It Was Good

I thought that this 1 TB hard drive was good to go until I got a notice that it needed to be formatted with no directions on how to do it. I want a replacement but don't have my order information.

Toshiba HDD Storage Disk

Purchased this product but my S380 Homebase wouldn’t format the disk even though I used the Eufy Security App and used the official chat line. Still didn’t format so have attempted to organise a return under the 30 day money back guarantee…. Well from my experience don’t buy this item from this company. Even though purchased off the Eufy website and supplied from a warehouse here in the US I have been told I have to return the HDD to Germany at my cost! All in original packaging, which according to the instructions had to unopened!! The drive would then be inspected and checked, and then and only then, we they consider a refund. They would then consider refunding the postage too. Wow how wonderful is that.
The support email address responds quickly and politely. Tried to call the help line but my cell but discovered it was a prime cost tariff which my account didn’t cover… so the statement of a full 30 day guarantee refund is very very misleading
