It can record screens and be used as a night vision light. It's useful.

I have a bunch of eufy cameras and i highly recommend them. Setup was super easy and the app walks you through step by step on adding the device. Quality of the build and camera is great. I setup the camera on the far side of my yard and the wifi was still strong enough to connect. If you have the homebase you can have endless storage but the device has interal storage for your clips. Do note it does record 24/7 if just using solar.

We have a few eufy cameras around the house and didn’t want to run another wire to the far side of the house. This works perfect! We have had it up for over a year a never an issue. Easy connection to the home base. Camera quality is the same as any of our hardwired cameras. Night vision works well. Great value for the buck. I had never had a solar powered camera and was wondering if it would stay charged. We have never had an issue. Never have had a connection error and can easily watch our kids on the trampoline as we make dinner.
