Smart Lock S230

Have had this product just under 2 years, conection to the wifi has been excellent, and no issues in the user functions. The battery is now dying and will only hold its charge for 7 days, Cannot find a supplier in my country that has replacment batteries, so may need to replace entier lock.

I have 3 of these and they’re running amazingly. Two are fully exposed to the elements another is in an entryway.

There are a few reviews of “it failed after I changed my WiFi” but really it’s not a failure. Just spin up a temporary WiFi using the old name and password and use it to update the settings on your locks to the new WiFi. You can even use a smartphone hotspot for this!

Eufy’s pretty decent, they make good quality products for a few month or year take or so. When I first bought the smart lock S230 it was awesome, reliable, durable, quick and easy when you just want to get inside your home. Has amazing functionality kinda pricy but acceptable. I’ve owned it for about a year and recently started experiencing issues with being unable to use of the features that they advertise. Customer service can be a huge headache especially considering that every time they reply it’s a different agent responding. What’s frustrating about this is that they’ll repeat the same suggestion or troubleshooting tips that literally you can just about google it. After the 2nd day going back and forth you’ll find someone who will actually be helpful once the case escalates. Fortunately on every issue I’ve had they been able to be of help and set me up with a replacement with expedited service. Can’t complain about that eufy’s brand is improving slowly but it’s getting better.

I was very happy with my Eufy lock upon first purchase. But like some other reviewers, I changed the WiFi network in my home and it resulted in my lock becoming completely unusable. It can no longer connect to Bluetooth, so you can't connect it to the app. Tried everything the company suggested. And was disappointed to find the customer service would not send me a replacement, blaming the defect on the "age" of the product. Only two years old when their marketing says it's tested to last 30 years...And knowing that multiple customers have the exact same "WiFi network change = lock is completely broken" problem. I cannot recommend purchasing this lock, unless you're willing to buy it multiple times.

Do not purchase!!!! After the warranty expires they won't fix Anything for you and if you change your Wi-Fi network it won't connect again you will have to put it in the trash with nothing to do with it

This was really easy to install and this was my first time ever replacing a lock. Works like it should. You can lock and unlock via app or connect it to Alexa.

good product (my second)

This lock was amazing for the time that it worked. Spent $250 on it in 2022 and had zero issues. Warranty is only good for 18 months and now on month 20 of owning it, it no longer will connect to the WiFi. I have done everything possible to fix it with no luck. It’s now reset and has no codes, cannot be fixed and can only be opened with a manual key. If you want a super fancy lock for less than two years then definitely buy this one.

I purchased this lock to replace another smart lock that malfunctioned. Installation was pretty standard, took about 5 minutes to install and about 15 minutes to program. So far, this lock has held up just fine and there are no issues. The fingerprint scanner is finicky and does not work every time. I also wish that you could use rf cards instead of just the app or pin pad.

La verdad son las mejores ya esta es mi ,3 con eufy y El Costco es lo mejor ya que no son caras y son mucho mejor que aquellas marcas reconocidas
