Better than any of the locks that we’ve had

The mechanism is powerful and fast, set up is the best in the business. We’ve had both Kwikset and Schlage and this is the best.

Good job Eufy, one of the few with Matter and Thread

This new smart lock looks good, is fast, great value and works with HomeKit, Alexa and Google at the same time. It also uses low power thread networking so batteries should last a long time and the lock can be installed further from the hub. It was easy to install and setup. I especially appreciate the ability to use Apple Home and Alexa at the same time as it's easy to ask Alexa to either lock or unlock the doors using your passcode.

I did have a problem with the thread connection dropping. Others have had this problem with Apple Home saying it was unavailable. Using the free EVE Matter and HomeKit IOS app I discovered that the thread boarder router connection was marginal and resolved the problem by moving my Apple TV and few feet from my WiFi router. Unfortunately many people blame the E30 when it's more likely network interference that can easily be resolved. Worth the inconvenience to have a product that is future proofed with Matter and Thread.

Thanks Eufy, I've been waiting for a smart lock company to upgrade to Matter and Thread. Time to buy a second lock it works so well.

Is been working good for couple weeks let's see how much longer it lasts

Battery Life and Usability issues

I bought four of these and installed them.
I like the design. Install was easy. Battery life claimed to be 6-8 months.
In less than a week, all four were at 20% or less charge on the new 100% full batteries Eufy supplied. This was unacceptable. I returned all four. (Temperature was in the low 30s to low 60s, but never freezing. No excuse.
And they all had the latest ROM update. Disappointed.
(For context, I am a computer pro, with a complex network, with 3 wired Wi-Fi Hot spots). I have 36 other devices working fine.
And one of the devices was 20 feet from the Wi-Fi hotspot in the garage.
