I originally bought the Eufy Corner Mount Bracket (T870B) for a very simple reason — I was tired of drilling new holes in my walls every time I upgraded or repositioned my cameras. Each new generation of Eufy cams seems to come with a slightly different mounting pattern, and my house was starting to look like Swiss cheese.
Instead of using the bracket exactly as intended, I tried something different — and it worked perfectly. The T870B comes with angled flanges designed to sit at 45° on a corner. I carefully bent those flanges outward to 90°, turning the bracket into a flat-wall mount. Once flattened, the bracket sat flush against the wall, giving me a solid, stable mounting surface without needing to add new holes every upgrade cycle.
With this simple modification, the T870B became the universal, reusable mount I was looking for. Now, when I replace or reposition cameras, I just attach them to the same bracket instead of drilling into the wall again. Clean, simple, and way more flexible than the original design.
If you’re tired of mounting headaches or want a long-term solution that grows with your camera upgrades, this bracket—especially with a minor tweak—might be exactly what you need.
