eufy Backup Battery for HomeBase 2

If you do not have an uninterrupted power supply for your HomeBase then a power cut will kill your alarm system. This battery backup solves that problem and does it in a very tidy and minimalist way.

It is just a shame that the HomeBase does not come with an inbuilt battery backup!

Someone else wrote "doesn't come with a power adapter"... well, it's not supposed to, so the fact you left a 1 start review because you don't understand the product is a horrible thing to do to a company. You unplug your home-base, and then plug the plug you just unplugged into the battery backup power hole. The take the little plug on the battery backup and plug that into the homebase. Not rocket science. Works good. I use it with my home-base3. It doesn't fit under our, so I plug it in, and leave it sit next to it, works good just doesn't look the best, but still works!!!

I just received this backup battery. I have not yet had a power outage (but it’s only a matter of time that I have one). But I wanted to point to the first review. The included directions report the following: (Paraphrasing) 1. Place Homebase on top of backup battery. 2. Unplug power connector from home base and plug into the backup battery. 3. Connect the attached power connector from the backup battery to the home base. The reviewer was correct, however, to imply that there is no power connection to the backup battery is wrong. That being said, I hope I have no use for this, but once this backup becomes fully charged my home will be incrementally better prepared during a power outage.

This product does not come with a power adapter, even though a power adapter is shown in all of the promotional materials.
