I ordered this box mainly for medications that are delivered when I am traveling. However, it has worked out great for Amazon packages ect. Just had to train the delivery services to use it, mainly UPS and Fedex. I have this for a year and a half and would definitely order it again.
So far all deliveries love it
It’s a pain in the ass to get it secured I’m the concrete but awesome.
I was really impressed with how well the device was made and how well it went together. All the parts are included and the instructions are pretty straightforward.
I hit a snag when it came to hooking it up to my wi-fi network, so I'm not yet fully operational, but that's just a matter of time (which is in short supply right now). I will update my review when I'm up and running.
Smart Drop will not connect to WiFi even though there are two Eufy cameras only around 5 feet away. Extremely frustrating. Tried everything possible. What good is it if it can't connect to the app?
got to add onto current camera system, smart drop doesn't connect to base, looking at forums(no replies from eufy yet) it is not compatible with home base 3. so have to just use pin code access all the time with no camera footage until they get firmware updated
Does not sync with HomeBase. Has poor connectivity with WiFi after initial set-up and constantly needs to be re-setup for no apparent reason. I went through multiple sessions with the customer service team to try to troubleshoot and was just told sorry that things were working before an update, but right now there is no fix.

I have had the same wifi connection issues that have been described in the other reviews. However, I will provide the help that I was not able to get through customer service. Start by holding the sync button for about 30 seconds. I don't know why but it works. I guess it is like a hard reset. You have to be near the home base and might have to repeat the process twice. As for connecting to the homebase I still have not been able to get that to work. I do use it daily for packages and it has probably saved me many calls to replace stolen packages. They siad the battery is supposed to last a couple months but I have not gotten more than a couple weeks. I am hoping that Eufy will provide some kind of firmware update to resolve these issues.
Box was easy to put together and keeps my packages out of the rain and away from prying eyes on my busy sidewalk address, but that's about it. Wifi has never connected. Created a dedicated access point, no worky. Reset. Hard reset. No luck. Will update review if I ever get this expensive metal dropbox working.
