I bought 2 of these camera from walmart and the battery started dying in weeks now after one year purchase. Never buying eufy products again.

Buyer Beware! Possible Planned Obsolescence or just plain unreliable cameras

Bought two eufyCam 2 Pros two years ago and they both just started malfunctioning right around the same time. In fact, on the same day. Interesting. Even if there isn't a grand conspiracy going on, I spent $400 on two cameras and now I'm faced with the prospect of spending another $400 on two new cameras to replace these.

Tech support was of little to no help -- attempted to troubleshoot before I called and they were basically "looks like you've tried everything, you're out of warranty, sorry about your bad luck".

Please think through your purchase knowing there's a very real chance that eufy makes either expensive but unreliable cameras or intentionally planned obsolescence cameras and will not stand behind their product.

Great Product!

I LOVE my wireless Eufy cameras! I use the Eufy solar panels to keep the batteries topped off. I love that they integrated into Homekit with little effort!

Not working

Good but not perfect

Those camera are good, but not perfect. Set-up is easy, and app works flawlessly. Image quality is good, night and day. Detection range isn't far enough. Main issue I have is battery life, it is FAR from the claimed one-year. Look, I wasn't expecting the 1-year, but I expected better. I put my camera in "eco" mode; Summer is "ok" at 3-4 month, mild winter almost gets me almost to two month. I got tired to go on a ladder to unscrew and recharche the camera, so I bought the add-on sonar panel, will see how it goes from this point!

I would give this a great but am a little disappointed in the motion detection of the cameras. It’s advertised at 20-30’. With all the adjustments and settings I have tried, the detection of the cameras might be 15-17’. Other than that, great quality in the captured videos and the notifications are timely.
