This alarm siren is a great addition to my security system, although I was hoping for some additional options, like custom voice reactions to events and such (front door unlocked; etc...) It is loud enough that I can put it in my closet and still hear it clearly. I would have liked to see more alarm options, as right now there is only one option. I would also like to set a custom alarm sound for specific events.In the future, matter support for devices like this would be very much appreciated, as I would like to integrate devices like this at a lower level within my home's ecosystem. There's no reason this shouldn't be able to act as a home speaker, doorbell, and driveway chime as well. The hardware's there, but the software still needs work.

Goes nicely with our Eufy security system adds an extra layer of security for our house without having to spend more money on another camera as it’s not utilized as much.

I didn't understand that this was to go with something else and not a stand alone item. I hadn't heard of homebase before.I will look into that and update my review when I have something to connect it to 😅

This siren feels very solid and well built. I have a similar unit for Ring systems and it feels like cheap, hollow plastic by comparison. It's incredibly easy to set up using the Eufy app, it takes less than a minute to be up and running. And yes, this thing is loud!One little side note that isn't a major feature but shows the commitment to a good user experience. The packaging includes a sticker-based mounting template that you stick to the wall where you want to mount the siren, then simply screw in the screws/anchors in the provided holes. This ensures a perfect mount on the first try and with no time or effort. Every manufacturer creating wall mounted devices needs to do this.

I like that this expands my Eufy Security System with another notification device. You can configure it to trigger with the various sensors of the Security System. It can be easily configured to trigger via the Eufy app. You can buy multiple sirens if you have a large area you need covered. These sirens need other Eufy devices to work, it is not a stand-alone alarm. But the word "alarm" may be too strong a word for this notification device. This is because the notifications sounds this alarm creates is more of a loud beeps (think digital watch beeps) rather than shrieking siren sounds. I did not expect such tame notification sounds from an "alarm", however the notification sounds are loud.

So, I like this thing, and I think others will as long as they have their expectations set to what the product offers. It’s really for folks like me who are tinkering around with a home security system and have a Homebase to connect with (sold separately). It’s not exactly too-of-the-line (really, 105dB isn’t the type of alarm that’s glass shattering), but it works for my hobbyist needs indoors.It’s a nice wireless alarm for those already invested in the eufy system, but make sure you actually have a use for it! adding to homebase S3 in conjuction with existing eufy products. this is not really a standalone thing, you will want to use it if you already have a homebase and cameras/motion sensors. this would be a good deterrent for any intruders; i.e. setup camera or motion sensor to trigger this alarm if your front door opens when you are not home. it would definitely scare off any intruder as it's painfully loud.

We are in the Eufy ecosystem and dove in fast and furious after migrating to another brand. Along with the usual security cameras, we really like the various sensors they offer.Enter the Eufy security siren. It’s a simple chirping speaker and a tool to audibly alert you or others and has a different purpose depending on how you customize it. You can use it to scare or deter thieves or anyone with malicious intent, but we currently use it to alert us of water leaks. We have the Eufy water sensor, and set it in the app to go off if water is detected near our water heater. There are two volume levels, low and high and the low setting is plenty loud and will wake us up immediately if we are sleeping.Install is very easy in the app as well as physically. Included is the mounting sticker, drywall anchors, and screws. Configuration may take some work, but not difficult.The siren takes two CR123 batteries that are included and Eufy claims it will last a good 2 years! I highly recommend it if you can take advantage of this add on if you already have a Eufy Homebase 2 or 3.

Great size easy to mount. Easy to connect to wi fi. Picture great.
