So far, so good

I haven’t had it for very long, but it was easy to set up and worked well when I tested it.

amazing product

a small device for a peace of mind as a homeowner. we got this sensor to add to our existing eufy base and home set up, and couldn't be happier after having this installed for two months. the set up instructions are straightforward + easy. it's such a good value because it informs you if there are water leaks that could be damaging to the home or pose flood risks. this device also connects to the eufy base. connects well to the app. this is such a functional item to have at home. i definitely appreciate how small and sleek it is too, and how strong the adhesives are.

Classic eufy quality — peace-of-mind protection

I haven’t installed this yet, but my first impressions are exactly what I expect from eufy. Packaging was solid, everything was organized, and nothing looked cheap or thrown together.I already run several eufy products in my house (plus HomeBase), and that’s honestly why I went with this sensor. The whole point of these devices is “set it and forget it,” and eufy has been reliable for me. From what I’m seeing and from the other reviews, setup is quick in the app, alerts are fast, and the built-in alarm is loud enough to matter. I also like that it covers both water leaks and freezing temps, and the extension cable/probe should make it easy to reach tight spots under/behind appliances.Plan is to put it under the washer since we had a very bad previous leak and our laundry room has no drain. If it works like my other eufy gear, it’s a no-brainer for the price.

Saved from a total flood

Living in an RV full time - water damage is my biggest fear - and this sensor already saved my day. The siren went off under my sink before I even saw a drop of water - and I was able to run out and check my pressure gauge immediately. It turns out my water pressure regulator had failed - jumping from my set 55 up to 75 - which caused both sinks to spray water inside the cabinets. Because of that audible alarm - the mess was limited and much easier to clean up than if I had waited until water was visible on the floor.I could have easily been flooded - so this thing is worth every penny for the peace of mind it provides. The built - in 75 dB alarm is plenty loud to hear throughout the rig - and the extended reach with the cable let me position it exactly where a leak would start. If you are on the road and worry about campground power or water surges - this is an essential piece of gear to have in your maintenance kit.

Trustworthy and reliable manufacturer

I got this item because I had a larger fish tank a couple months ago that sprung a small leak. We were out for the day and if we would have had this then, it would have notified us. Having wood floors, this was a near disaster. Now we are prepared if our new fish tank’s seal doesn’t hold, God forbid. This sensor is small and it’s connectivity works well. It also has adhesive for attaching it to something, which I’m not using - mine is on the floor next to the tank stand.I would definitely get this again. Good value and quality for the price.

Smart Features and Easy Install

The eufy e20 water leak sensor packs a lot of great features and comes with everything you need to get setup (provided you already have a eufy homebase).Setup was super quick and easy. Simply scan the QR code on the underside of the sensor from within the eufy app and the device is added within seconds. The benefit of requiring a homebase is that the eufy water leak sensor will continue to function even when WiFi and internet are down or unavailable. When water is detected, the sensor lets out a shrill alarm. The homebase will also produce an audible sound which is helpful if the homebase is in a more central location of the house. The app registers and logs when the last leak was detected and is able to remotely clear the alert. The box includes different mounting options: sticker pad, and drywall screws and anchors. The sensor can be placed directly in an area that is leak-prone. There is also an included flat extension cord that allows the sensor to be placed under a tight space.Overall this is a great water leak sensor with many features and supposedly a great battery life. It doesn’t connect via WiFi and uses its own proprietary connection to the homebase to prevent radio interference. A good value and highly recommended!

An awesome water leak sensor - a very important item to have

With a super easy setup, reliable connection, and a very accurate reading of water leaks, this product is top notch. It’s better to have some of these around the house so you can detect a problem early on.The Eufy app is great as always and setup is as easy as pulling the tab. I’d highly recommend this sensor to anyone in the Eufy ecosystem. You will know right away with a push notification if there is a problem. It comes with an additional wired probe to monitor two areas at once. You can test the device by placing it in a shallow plate or bucket of water. It immediately sounds and sends a notification once the water is touching it. I’m definitely going to buy a few more of these.

Works great

I placed these in a few locations where leaking would be an issue. We have a guest bathroom where the toilet bolts sometimes leak and need to be tightened, probably due the toilet gasket getting compressed. Sure enough the leak detector started beeping and we found the toilet bolts were leaking once again. I would highly recommend this product.

Peace of mind, Easy setup

Great size and easy set up / use.PROs: Simple set up right out of the box. Simply pull the battery tab and it’s working. I like that it has the extension/remote sensor that you can place under equipment like a hot water heater or furnace.CONs: I wish the sound was slightly louder but I can still hear it from my basement into my first floor of the.
