Very good
It was a quick and easy install, and I love the fact that it is tied in with the app to alert me.
They were a little bit difficult to get properly connected but once done I can access them via Alexa. For their small size they are incredibly loud, which I need because I have combat hearing loss!
I installed the eufy E19 smoke detectors recently and they’ve been excellent so far. Setup was incredibly easy — they connected to the app almost instantly and the whole process was seamless.
The first thing I did after installing one was blow out a candle directly underneath it to test it. It triggered right away, so it definitely works as expected. The notifications through the Eufy Security app are excellent as well. You get immediate alerts, and they’re clear and easy to understand.
One thing worth mentioning is the alarm volume. It’s not an ear-piercing, blaring alarm like some detectors. Personally, I actually like that. It’s still persistent enough that if you place one in a bedroom it will definitely wake you up. That said, it may not be loud enough to hear clearly across the entire house depending on your layout.
Overall, if you want a smart smoke detector that is easy to install, reliable, and integrates well with the app, the E19 has been great in my experience. The quick setup and solid notifications alone make it worth it.
Add a notification if not home when the alarm sounds. Call for help instead of finding out too late. If it ever happens, I hope this will make a difference.

A very good smoke alarm as far as I can tell, so far, I had one mishap in the kitchen, and the alarm did go off, it's pretty straightforward installing a fire alarm, this one did come with a battery already installed. Simply took the plate off the back, mounted it on the ceiling. You pull the little plastic tab to activate the battery and then simply install the fire alarm by pushing it into the base and giving it a slight twist to the right. It's easy enough to test, has a little button right on the front. For the cost and the ease of installation, I must give this five stars. It is a lot smaller than older smoke alarms. I really like that it's not so noticeable. I would absolutely purchase this again.
