How many passcodes and fingerprints can the eufy Security Smart Lock C220 store?
Up to 50 fingerprints and 100 different passcodes.
How long does the battery last in one charge? How to unlock Wi-Fi Smart Lock when the battery dies?
Roughly 8 months depending on usage(10 times unlock through keypad or app).You'll get a notification when the battery is under 20%. If the battery dies, you can charge it via the port on the bottom of the exterior lock. (Includes 2 physical keys.)
What temperatures can the Smart Lock C220 handle?
The exterior assembly can handle temperatures within the range of -22℉ to 158℉ (-30℃ to 70℃). We do not recommend using the Smart Lock outside of these conditions.
Is Smart Lock C220 compatible with eufy ecosystem, Apple HomeKit, IFTTT, or Matter?
It works with eufy doorbell. However, It's NOT compatible with Apple HomeKit, IFTTT, or Matter yet.Neither does it work with eufy HomeBase™ or any wifi bridge.
Whats the requirement for installation?
Please check the Compatibility infographic above for specific requirement. Dimensions required: Crossbore center to the top of handleset greater than 45 mm; Door thickness: 35 mm-55 mm. NOT Compatible with Mortise Lock.

Let me start with, I already have 4 cameras & the home base, so I’m familiar with eufy’s lineup. I had a keypad lock on the front door and wanted WiFi access so eufy’s smart lock was of interest. I did my internet & YouTube research to understand pros/cons of many smart lock brands.
I bought the 220 direct from eufy (my money, no special discount), although lock was available through Amazon at the same price. Purchase & shipping were straightforward and delivery was a few days, maybe a week. This was directly in the holiday season when so many items were being shipped; no issue.
Installation was simple. The most confusing parts for me were finding the right QR code and finding the right location in the app to add a device. Once connected, everything just worked. I added codes & fingerprints and…that’s it. It VERY simple, easy, straightforward.
I like that I can add a code for a specific amount of time/days for visiting family. I like knowing whose code is used to lock/unlock the door. I like knowing if the door is locked or unlocked just by looking at app. Lastly, I like being able to lock or unlock the door from wherever I am using the app. All are features not available with the original keypad lock (b/c it wasn’t WiFi). I could go on but you get the picture; I do like the lock & the app and they are integrated very well with the eufy system of devices.
So, this lock is certainly an upgrade for my family. Installation was 12/23/24 so longevity has not yet been tested (for me). Hopefully, it provides years of service.
Now I’m interested in adding the 230 to the front door & moving the 220 to the garage. Just need to convince one family member 🤔 😂

I bought this to replace an WYZE deadbolt that had never been able to perform as expected, despite couutless hours with customer support and in the forums. This lock performs as promised, and picks up a fingerprint 97% so far. I have NEVER had to use the app (much less my hard key). I just try another time at the fingerprint reader and it works. It does what it says. So far so good… I feel like I got a Dollar for a Dime!
