You can store palm vein information for up to 50 people. Palm vein recognition can only be used for unlocking, not locking.

Is this smart lock compatible with the eufy ecosystem, Apple Home, SmartThings, Google Home, or Amazon Alexa?

Yes, this smart lock is compatible with Matter over Thread (MoT). You can use your iOS or Android devices to lock and unlock the door (HomeKey is not supported). Additionally, you can set up home automation.

Does this smart lock require a hub to connect to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or Samsung SmartThings?

A hub that supports Matter is required for this device to connect to third-party ecosystems (Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings).

How is this smart lock powered? What happens if the battery runs out?

Our door lock uses a dual power supply with main and backup lithium batteries. When the main battery is low, the backup battery provides emergency power, maintaining palm and PIN code access to unlock.

What kind of doors is eufy FamiLock compatible with?

It's compatible with most standard doors (35-55 mm thick). We do not recommend installing on doors with a storm door in front, as it might block the view. If your latch recess is round, contact eufy Support to get a round drive-in faceplate.

I love eufy!

Great lock! The app is amazing and everything is wellput together for ease of each buyer! I love my eufy ecosystem!

Love it!

I love it! Easy to install, easy to use. I already had a eufy video doorbell, so I didn’t need a door lock with video. This one is just perfect - the palm scan makes it quick and easy to unlock the door when I’m carrying things. I love being able to set up different codes for everyone. I also appreciate that they’ve made it weather resistant - I had a store brand smart lock previously, and it stopped working whenever the temperature was below freezing. That one also used AA batteries, and the freezing temperatures somehow made it deplete the batteries. Eufy’s design with the 2 batteries that charge each other is brilliant - I hated having to throw batteries away. I also appreciate that you can still use a key - with the problems I had with my other smart lock, I would be concerned about being locked out if I couldn’t use an actual key.

Upgrade my c220 for this one

Upgrade my c220 for this newer palm reader and it is night and day of difference. The palm reader is fast and locking mechanism is so quite. Really please with this new smart lock. You cant go wrong with Eufy brand

Great device only one adjustment

The device itself is great. The set up instructions were very straightforward as well. Making it a breeze to set up. The only feedback that I have for the device is the fact where the key is inserted that cover isn’t very secure. It covers the area, but it’s rather loose. It’d be nice if it was more secure. with the current design, you don’t have to put much effort to get it uncovered so if the door is either slammed shut it causes that cover to reveal the keyhole.Now that’s just me being nitpicky about it. All I did to relieve that concern was to put a bigger rubber Gromit around that section.

Amazing technology

Amazing technology. Love the handsfree, no more searching for keys deep in purse or having to carry uncomfortable keys in pockets. Battery life is great so far, all my other door locks are also Eufy brand and last 5 times longer than several other brands that I have tried. Everyone that comes over is impressed with the technology and say they gotta get one, at which time I send them my referral link that literally will end up paying me back for the lock itself.
