eufy Smart Lock C33

I installed this lock and it worked for about 4 days. I tried resetting and troubleshooting but could not get it to work. I contacted Eufy for instructions on how to return.. They sent instructions on how to troubleshoot. Again, asked for refund information. Sent more instructions. AGAIN asked for refund info. Sent an email asking if I wanted a replacement. AGAIN asked for refund. Have not heard back. I have gone from being a die-hard fan to never wanting anything else from eufy in my life.

Works very well but the true tests will occur in the winter. We can get extreme cold temperatures in Montana. Check back 😀

Only issue i took one star was they delivered used lock by mistake i guess, so i need to drive to post office to return it and get a second one, for some reason the give open packages and i like them to come sealed just like all the cameras and locks got in the past always new but this lock my best guess people return them and they refurbished again dont like that, not cool and i have a fully smart home with Eufy and Ring, Eufy needs better management

I received a defective piece. the fingerprint part of the lock does not work. I called eufy customer service and asked for a replacement. the customer service agent told me she has requested a replacement and that I will receive the order tracking soon. its been more than one week and I don't have the replacement nor I have the confirmation of the replacement order.

This is a great (generally easy to install) smart lock for a bedroom or office. The strike plate and faceplate are a little bigger than a normal lock so we had to modify the jamb and the door very very slightly to get them to fit, but it took less than a minute with a chisel to do each side. Love the many ways of unlocking (app/fingerprint/pass/hard key).

This Smart Lock C33 installed easily and paired with the Eufy app with no issues. The fingerprint sensor works fine as well as the remote via their app. I also was able to set up with Google Home so now I can use Google assistant on my smart watch or phone and say "unlock front door" Pretty nifty
